Old Teak

Old Teak is a solid, old, recycled hardwood, what comes from wooden pieces, which were having a different purpose in former times. Ox cartwheels, hub axles and shafts as well as splintered canoes, dead tree stumps and roots are finding a new place within our furniture. The solid finish guarantees a strong quality and a long lasting life. Each piece of furniture is handcrafted and totally unique in shape, design and colour.
Maintenance
All Teak products have been hand finished in The Netherlands using Teak Oil. Regular treatment will be necessary to maintain the high quality finish. Alternatively the finish may be left to deteriorate to arrive at an aged look. Any cracks or splits that may occur, as the timber acclimatizes, are to be accepted as a natural characteristic of the timber and in not way affect the structural integrity of the product.
Teak

The solid Acacia wood is a tropical hardwood with beautifully structured natural pattern and a warm reddish colour. Its characteristics are comparable with Teakwood. All Acacia products have been hand finished in The Netherlands using a high quality exterior yacht varnish that gives a high quality and durable finish. Regular treatment will be necessary to maintain the high quality finish with further applications of a suitable product recommended by your nearest hardware store. Alternatively the finish may be left to deteriorate to arrive at an aged look. Molave
Origin
Molave is a very heavy and dense tropical hardwood of light colour. It is very robust and has comparable characteristics with Teak wood. The solid finish guarantees a strong quality and a long lasting life. Each piece of Molave furniture is handcrafted and totally unique in shape, design and colour.

Origin
All root benches "Australia" are made from reclaimed solid mahogany root that can be up to 150 years old. They have been digged out of the ground and dried with all necessary care. Origin
Very heavy and permanent sort of wood originating from giant sequoia’s. The noble, dark red colour and the fine structure of this type of wood create a valuable appearance. This wood is a little softer than Teak wood, but has, due to the dense solid structure, the same good qualities.
